Throwing it all the way back to July of 2022. Hoping by putting this out there I will get more elopements and bridals this year because they are some of my absolute favorite things to shoot.
This was originally going to be an elopement but they had to switch their elopement to the day before at noon due to the fact that their officiant had to switch it all.
I unfortunately wasn’t available for that so we did bridals instead. It was so lovely getting to go down there and getting to shoot as it was my first and only time.
This couple was from down south and really wanted to have the moment they get married to be in Maine- I absolutely don’t blame them- I mean look at this place.
We were able to find spots without people and walked along the cliffside to get the spectacular views. One thing to note is the park closes at sunset so we had to hurry.
The park rangers drive around telling you- you have x amount of minutes and that they are going to close the gates so you don’t want to get locked in.
Their theme was goth, hence the purple flowers, purple vest and dark makeup details. I don’t normally get to shoot that aesthetic so I was happy for the change.
If you got you didn’t get wedding photos, didn’t like them, or just want some cool anniversary photos- put on that dress again girly and let’s take some awesome pictures.
Trust me – it is so worth it. I have done this a few times now and they are always my favorite things to capture. We just have so much fun getting to document these memories.
If you had a traditional wedding then it is low stress and time to just focus on you two. If you didn’t have photos then it is a chance to memorialize your marriage.
Anywho, pick a day either on your anniversary or a month before so you get the photos back in time. Print them out and make a gallery wall to look at all the time.
